Photoshop Trick on how to *brownify* your eyes

Some people ask me how do I enhance my eyes on my Facebook profile photo? and since I told them “I only use one tool” for that and no-one “quite” believe me :getlost:

Actually not only brown, it’s depend on your eye color of course :angel:

First of all you’ll need a good photo source, high-megapixel camera, no/minimum flash, with nice focus will do (since you’ll need the detail).

I use Sony A200 with low-aperture to capture the image above.


2-enhance

Enhanced

Then you have to enhance the image by adjusting the saturation, contrast and level (my previous post talk about it here)


3-dodge

Pick A Dodge Tool

See those part that I mark with red-circle? You then pick a dodge tool, adjust the brush into a soft-brush, adjust the brush size into a proper size, rangge into midtones, and adjust the exposure into 30-50% (click on the image to see the detail)

Feel free to adjust the variables :)


4-usapan

Use the dodge tools on eye-surface to enhance detail

Use the dodge tool to the bottom part of the eye, it will enhance the detail dramatically :angel:
